"I surrender myself to the energy of the street, follow the light and let my heart take me to where a photo may reveal itself."

Originally from Iran, I moved to US when I was 16. Since then I have lived and worked in some amazing cities like San Francisco, Philadelphia, NY, Chicago, Amsterdam and, most recently, London. My long term working project London Diaries is a visual journey into life on the streets of London, primarily around the West End and Soho (where I lived between 2013-2021). I work with Leica digital bodies (M11, SL2, Q2, CL and Monochrom 246) and a variety of film cameras (Nikon F range, Leica M range, Contax T3, G2 and 645, Mamiya 6 and 7ii, Rolleiflex 2.8F and Hasselblad 503c). My favorite focal lengths are 28, 50 and 90.

In addition to working on my own photography projects, I promote the works of other photographers through exhibitions and events organized by 3 Street Gallery which I founded in June 2018 together with Joshua K. Jackson and Sean Tucker. I have also recently collaborated with Leica UK on the launch of Q2 Monochrom and conducted an online webinar in March 2021 (links in Media).
